OXVA XLIM Pro 3 user manual: buttons, charging, pods

A written XLIM Pro 3 guide from OXVA's own page: the five-click button table, auto draw, the screen, 5V/2A charging and the 3 ml top-fill pod.

By Staff, Pod & Coil

OXVA publishes an XLIM Pro 3 user manual as a PDF on its product page, and that page prints the controls: one click fires, two open the menu, three adjust wattage, four lock or unlock, five switch it on or off. It charges at 5V/2A over USB-C and takes a top-filled 3 ml pod, 2 ml in TPD kits.

This is an evergreen operating guide. It is built from OXVA’s XLIM Pro 3 product page and its Pro 3 versus XLIM 3 Ultra buying guide, both read by this desk on 4 October 2026. Every figure below is OXVA’s, not a measurement of ours.

XLIM Pro 3 button controls: what each click does

ClicksOXVA’s labelWhat the page adds
1FireButton firing is one of two modes
2MenuMenu contents not documented
3Adjust Wattage5-30 W; step size not documented
4Lock & UnlockNothing further
5Power On & OffNothing further

That is the whole button table. There is one button, and OXVA’s page lists “Auto Draw & Button Activated”, so a draw on the mouthpiece fires the coil as well as a press does.

How do you change the wattage?

Three clicks, by OXVA’s table, within a stated 5-30 W range. The Pro 3 page read on 4 October 2026 does not explain how far each step moves, how the adjustment is confirmed, or what the menu behind two clicks holds. The box includes a Use Suggestion Card, but the page does not print what it recommends for the two kit pods, 0.6 Ω and 0.8 Ω.

What does the XLIM Pro 3 screen show?

The screen is a 1.05-inch HD colour panel that OXVA rates at 300 nits. The product page says it shows wattage, battery and ohms, and offers theme, effect and light options. The buying guide adds a puff count to that list.

The Pro 3 has a colour screen, and neither OXVA page read here lists its warning or error prompts.

How do you charge the XLIM Pro 3?

Through the USB-C port, at 5V/2A, into a 1500 mAh cell. OXVA claims 80% in 30 minutes and “5 Days Full Charge Use Time”; both are manufacturer claims, and the page does not state the usage pattern behind the five days. It also does not describe what the screen shows during a charge. Our USB-C charging piece explains why the charger itself still matters, and the XLIM Pro 2 versus Pro 3 comparison sets the battery and weight against the previous model.

Filling the pod and setting the airflow

The kit pod is the XLIM Top Fill cartridge, 3 ml in standard kits and 2 ml in TPD kits. The 0.6 Ω pod arrives pre-installed, with a 0.8 Ω spare. OXVA says the pod tops up “in 3s”; that is its claim. Neither page read gives a priming or wait time after a fresh fill.

Airflow is a side slider, listed as “Side AFC”, which the buying guide says runs from tight mouth-to-lung to an airier restricted direct-lung draw. For which other cartridges OXVA lists, see XLIM Pro 3 compatible pods.

What is in the XLIM Pro 3 box, and where is the user manual?

The standard kit, per OXVA: the device, the two Top Fill pods, a Type-C cable, a User Manual, a Use Suggestion Card and a Button Operation Instructions card. The scanned PDF manual has no text layer this desk could extract, so none of it is quoted here.

Questions readers ask

How do you lock the OXVA XLIM Pro 3?

Click the single button four times. OXVA’s Pro 3 page labels four clicks as Lock & Unlock, so the same four clicks release it again. The page does not say what the screen displays while the device is locked, or whether a locked device still fires on an inhale; OXVA’s PDF manual is the place to check that.

How do you change the wattage on the XLIM Pro 3?

Three clicks of the button, which OXVA labels Adjust Wattage, across a stated range of 5 to 30 W. The Pro 3 page read on 4 October 2026 does not say how far each step moves, how the adjustment is confirmed, or what setting suits the 0.6 and 0.8 Ω kit pods.

How do you turn the OXVA XLIM Pro 3 on and off?

Five clicks of the button, which OXVA labels Power On & Off. Once it is on, the device fires either when you inhale or when you press the button, since OXVA lists auto draw and button activation. Four clicks lock it instead.

OXVA’s page warns that its devices are intended exclusively for adult smokers of legal purchase age, and that the product may contain nicotine, which is an addictive chemical.
