OXVA XLIM Pro 3 vs Uwell Caliburn G3 Pro: the spec sheets
OXVA's XLIM Pro 3 page prints 1500 mAh, 5-30 W and 77.4 g; Uwell's Caliburn G3 Pro page prints 35 W and a 0.4 ohm pod, no mAh or weight. Read 20 Sep 2026.
By Kirsty Malin
On the makers’ own pages, the OXVA XLIM Pro 3 states a 1500 mAh cell, 5-30 W and 77.4 g; the Uwell Caliburn G3 Pro states a 3 mL 0.4 ohm pod, 35 W max and a 2A Type-C port, and no battery capacity or weight. The XLIM documents more capacity; the Caliburn a higher ceiling.
OXVA XLIM Pro 3 vs Uwell Caliburn G3 Pro: the sources
An evergreen comparison: this desk read OXVA’s XLIM Pro 3 page, Uwell’s Caliburn G3 Pro page, Ecigclick’s 9 September 2024 G3 Pro review by Michelle Jones, and the MHRA’s TRPR guidance on gov.uk, all on 20 September 2026. Uwell’s readable text that day printed no battery capacity, weight, dimensions or charge-time claim; possibly in its linked manual, which we did not open.
The two, side by side
What the ratios say
The XLIM’s figures share one document, so its ratios stand: 19.4 mAh per gram and 0.020 W per mAh, the Pro 2 vs Pro 3 arithmetic. The G3 Pro’s mix sources: Uwell’s 35 W over Ecigclick’s 1000 mAh is 0.035 W per mAh, and 1000 mAh over Ecigclick’s 92 g is 10.9 mAh per gram, a 2024 sample, not a specification. It is bigger on every axis, 14.6 g heavier, with a third less stated capacity.
What the Caliburn buys instead
Uwell ties 35 W to the 0.4 ohm pod, calls the G3 Pro the first Caliburn with fine-tuning airflow, and states it takes every G3 cartridge, the G5 and G5 Lite platform. Both state a 2A Type-C port; only OXVA says what it achieves, and a port is not a charging behaviour. The 2 mL variants exist because the MHRA’s TRPR guidance caps tanks at 2 mL and requires notification before sale; notified is the regulator’s word, not approval.
Weighed up
Verdict
Our assessment, on published material rather than hands-on time: if the cell is the number you care about, buy the one whose maker puts it in writing; if you want 35 W and own G3 pods, the G3 Pro.
Questions readers ask
Is the OXVA XLIM Pro 3 better than the Caliburn G3 Pro?
On documented figures the XLIM Pro 3 is the better-specified battery: OXVA prints 1500 mAh, 77.4 g and a 30-minute 80 per cent charge claim; Uwell’s page prints none of those. The Caliburn answers with a 35 W ceiling, fine-tuning airflow and the G3 cartridge family.
Which has better battery life, XLIM Pro 3 or Caliburn G3 Pro?
Nobody here has run either flat. On paper the XLIM Pro 3 carries 1500 mAh by OXVA’s spec block against the G3 Pro’s 1000 mAh, a figure from Ecigclick’s 2024 review because Uwell’s page states none. Half again the capacity at a 5 W lower ceiling is the XLIM’s case.
Is 0.8 or 0.6 better for OXVA?
OXVA ships the XLIM Pro 3 kit cartridge in 0.6 and 0.8 ohm; replacement coils run 0.4 to 1.2 ohm. The 0.6 draws more current for a warmer, airier draw; the 0.8 stretches the 1500 mAh cell and suits a tighter mouth-to-lung pull. Neither is better.
Both cartridges hold nicotine-containing e-liquid, so the closing line follows them: nicotine is addictive, and nobody under the legal purchase age, 21 in the United States and 18 in most markets, is the reader we write for.
